I’m developing five of my stories into children’s books:
V.G. and Dexter Dufflebee
The Grumpadinkles
Misty Zebracorn
Zach and the Toad Who Road the Bull
One Day in the Shade of a Tickletoe Tree
My goal is to self-publish at least two of them before the holiday shopping season in a few months. That is of course subject to budget and resource constraints. Regarding the latter, two of the three publishing professionals who helped me to prepare my first fourteen books have had situations come up where their availability is sharply diminished and their focus is elsewhere.
I realized I’d made a mistake relying so heavily on only them and am attempting to remedy the situation by identifying, screening, and adding additional resources. I’m delighted to report that I now have included another amazing illustrator, editor, and book layout designer, and am exploring adding more, plus another cover designer. We’re in the early stage of our new relationships, but so far I’m enjoying working with them and love what they’ve generated. I plan to soon provide more details as to same.
With Love,
Russ
