Why I’m Dumping Grumpalump

A sharp-eyed, long-time reader thought she recognized the word “Grumpalump” and sure enough, found one or more children’s books with that character and title. She kindly sent an email to let me know.  Thank you, Diana! You saved me a lot of time and perhaps money too. And thank you for catching it so early in the process.

So, I’m dumping Grumpalump. And my next choice, ‘Grumpalot’ has also been previously taken, as well as my third choice, Grumpstink (and even Grumpstinker). Can you believe it?! The latter one or two can even be found in the Urban Dictionary!

So, my character and latest children’s story is now going to be named “Grumbly Grumplestinker”. I found no reference to “Grumplestinker” at Google.com.

With Love,
