When I Called For Help, They Answered

Below are many of the heroes of my successful Kickstarter campaign to help me to launch my children’s book(s). They are listed in approximate chronological order based on when they made their pledge.

When I called for help, they answered.

Others answered my call too. More names may be added shortly.

To all on this list: I’m forever grateful for your help in bringing these books to life in the hands of young children and their loved ones. THANK YOU!

(BIG SMILE!) Thank you, Ute! I’m very happy that you understand that giving my friends and loved ones an opportunity to participate in this project was a big part of what my Kickstarter campaign was all about, in addition to enabling me to get two books into the hands of some seriously ill young children and their loved ones. With the help of supporters and Kickstarter, I’m going to be able to get two books out into the world in the time it would have taken me to get one done if I had gone the entirely self-funded route.

And now I will have two books published to see if the public likes them instead of only one. I believe that the odds of any children’s books self-published by an unknown author selling in quantities that make them profitable are exceedingly rare, so potential profit was not high on my list as to reasons I’m doing so, but it was (and remains) on my list, and hopefully these books will be liked.

Even though I am not a child (well sometimes I am )… you have one massive fan already 🙂
I am so looking forward to it!
